LARAMONT

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Laramont collects on this site, why, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights.

Operator of the website

This website is operated by Laramont, a property management business serving Greater Montreal. Any question about this policy can be sent to contact@laramont.ca.

Information we collect

We only collect information you voluntarily submit in our forms: full name, email, phone if you provide it, service needed, property city, property type, number of units, where you live, and the content of your message. The tenant form also collects preferred area, budget, home type and move-in date.

Purposes

We use this information to respond to your request, prepare a service proposal, assess whether a mandate is eligible, and follow up on your file. We do not use it for other purposes and we do not send newsletters from these forms.

How we collect it

Collection happens through the forms on this site, by email, and during a phone conversation if you call us. We do not buy lists and we do not collect information through automated profiling.

Consent

By submitting a form, you consent to Laramont using the information provided to handle your request. A consent checkbox must be selected before sending. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Service providers

Forms on this site are delivered through a third-party form processing service, which forwards the form content to our inbox. Website hosting and the municipal maps also rely on third-party providers. These providers act as technical intermediaries and do not use your information for their own commercial purposes.

Processing outside Quebec

Some of these providers process or host data outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before using a provider, we assess whether the protection offered is adequate and we limit the information transmitted to what is needed to answer your request.

Retention and secure destruction

Your information is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and the resulting follow-up, then securely destroyed or anonymized. If a management agreement is signed, client-file retention applies from that point, according to legal and accounting requirements.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to our inboxes is protected by authentication. Access to information is limited to people who need it. No system is perfect: please avoid sending sensitive financial or identity information through a form.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Municipal maps load a third-party mapping service, which involves a request to that provider when you display the map. Your browser may store your language preference locally, on your device.

Access and correction

You may at any time request access to the information we hold about you and ask for its correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous. Write to contact@laramont.ca. We respond within a reasonable time and no later than the deadlines set by applicable Quebec law.

Withdrawal and deletion requests

You may withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your information by email. We then stop processing it, except for information that the law or an active mandate requires us to keep.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can send a complaint to the same email address. We acknowledge receipt and share our conclusions. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
