SHORT-TERM RENTAL

The rules in your municipality.

Every Quebec municipality has its own short-term rental rules. Search yours.

New in 2026: Quebec is tightening registration. Two proofs of principal residence are required at registration and renewal, and the owner's or condo syndicate's consent will have to be renewed every year (measures announced March 25, 2026, in force April 9 and September 1, 2026).
