Saint-Sauveur
Laurentides
Principal residence
Very restricted: the City defines short-stay rental as any rental under 4 months and prohibits it in most zones, including in the operator's principal residence. It remains allowed in a handful of HT zones near the village core and Mont Saint-Sauveur. Fines of $1,000 per day ($2,000 for a company).
Secondary residence or chalet
Allowed only in the HT zones identified in zoning bylaw 222-2008 (Mont Saint-Sauveur and village core sectors). Occupancy certificate required. Prohibited everywhere else, and the City actively enforces its bylaw.
